Demetress L Davis, DDS MDSC is a native of Augusta, GA. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from the Medical College of Georgia and practiced as a licensed Dental Hygienist in the Atlanta area. Demetress’ dental degree was completed at Meharry Medical College, School of Dentistry. She attended the University of Connecticut Health Sciences Center, Department of Endodontology, where she received her Masters in Dental Sciences and certificate in Endodontology. Demetress has worked in the dental field for 25 years, including 8 years in Endodontics. For the past four years, she has been providing endodontic services for patients of Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and New York. Demetress has published original research, Barriers to Dental Care for Older Minority Adults, in the journal of Special Care in Dentistry. She is an active member of the National Dental Association and American Association of Endodontics. Demetress is Board Eligible and currently working towards becoming a Diplomate of the American Association of Endodontics.

Demetress L. Davis is a member of the 1st Church of the Living God under the pastorate of Bishop Jesse J. White, Jr. and Elder Lorraine White. She is a leader in the Grief Share (Bereavement) ministry and member of the Women’s Ministry. Past experiences in conjunction with her faith and trust in God and compassion for the underserved population, Demetress is devoted to creating a Christ-centered, delightful, and inspiring impression, making a difference in the lives of her patients that is authentic and bountiful. Empowered by the Holy Spirit’s guidance, leadership & counsel, she strives to create a positive, joyous and peaceful sanctuary that provides compassionate and relaxing experiences for all patients to alleviate their individual fears, assure quality care and fulfill the needs of their personal well-being. She makes provisions to continue building a reputation of being able to provide endodontic experiences so full of love, gentleness, and humility that everyone will be overjoyed with the excellence of their experience!

When she is not treating patients, Dr. Davis enjoys spending time with her family, outdoor activities, snorkeling, swimming, traveling, cooking/baking, entertaining and reading.
